In the first six months of 2014, more than 500 TLS Logistics employees have attended 1,600 hours of occupational health and safety training.

TLS Logistics places great importance on the health and safety of its employees, which the company considers its greatest asset. In the last six months, the company has provided health and safety training to 537 employees. The duration of the training provided exceeds 1,600 hours.

The company has set up risk assessment teams in all workplaces.

Both professional companies and experts have trained these teams within TLS.

TLS has also conducted workplace risk assessments, established emergency response teams, and provided the necessary training. In addition, emergency drills continue to be held regularly. How to act in such cases has been recorded in the prepared emergency plans.

TLS has also taken steps to ensure this established system’s continuity, identify, and address any deficiencies that may arise over time. Accordingly, Occupational Health and Safety Committee meetings are held every month at all logistics centers. The system is constantly reviewed by both the management OHS and the department heads. In addition to training, weekly and monthly safety meetings are held in all departments. TLS has expressed its importance to this issue by placing OHS performance at the top of logistics managers’ performance evaluations.

The CEO of TLS Logistics, Altuğ Hacıalioğlu, commented on this issue as follows: “With all these steps, we aim to be the best in the industry in this area, create a high level of customer and supplier satisfaction, and be recognized by our employees by circumventing the legal requirements for occupational health and safety. We aim to be the preferred company. We recognize that when there is a high turnover of staff in a company, there is a lack of health, safety, and comfort conditions, and we take every precaution to minimize this turnover.”
