TLS Logistics has exactly met its targets in the first six months of 2013, achieving a turnover of TL 107 million through growth. For the full year, the company is targeting a turnover of TL 240 million.

TLS Logistics, which has been on a steady growth path since its establishment, has closed the first six months of 2013 with growth. In the first half of the year, the company generated a turnover of TL 107 million. Compared to the first half of 2012, this represents an 18% increase. The company aims to achieve a turnover of TL 240 million in 2013. The CEO of TLS Logistics, Altuğ Hacıalioğlu, says that the company has fully achieved the revenue target set for the first six months. Hacıalioğlu points out that 2013 was a challenging year in economic terms, saying, “We can see the impact of these challenges in every sector, including logistics.” Despite this, Hacıalioğlu stated that they made and continued their investments within the framework they had planned, “Global uncertainties worry us.

In addition to economic uncertainty and unrest, we observe that political and social problems in many countries are worsening. It is difficult for all sectors to look to the future and achieve their goals in this environment. As TLS Logistics, we have achieved precisely the targets we set for the first six months. We are aiming to achieve the same success for the entire year as well. Our total revenue target for 2013 is TL 240 million.

In the first quarter of the year, we put into operation our new warehouse in Şekerpınar with an area of 25,000 m2 and a pallet capacity of 52,000 EURO. Our International Services Logistics Centers were opened in İzmir and Bursa. In addition, we are planning to invest in car transportation and warehousing. Currently, we are renewing our fleet. We intend to make more sustainable and low-risk investments with long-term contracts. We believe 2013 will be more challenging due to issues with our neighbors and stagnation in the global economy. We plan to grow with a high-precision approach that prioritizes profitability and cash flow in terms of revenue. In addition, we will strategically maximize our cost focus.”

TLS Logistics ended 2012 with growth above the industry average, achieving 35% year-on-year growth. The company operates throughout Turkey with 11 regional directorates, operations, and distribution centers in 37 locations. The company is on the Fortune 500 list.

TLS Logistics is steadily increasing its market share inland, sea transportation, and air transportation. With this steady growth, TLS Logistics has become the preferred logistics partner of the pharmaceutical and technology industries.

TLS Logistics, which has been on a steady growth trajectory since the day it was founded, is also one of the emerging companies in the logistics industry in the field of air transportation. TLS Logistics has increased its airfreight volume to an average of 350 tons per month in the first quarter of 2013. In the second quarter, the monthly airfreight volume is expected to increase to 450 tons.

These volumes were achieved by transporting goods to Russia, the Turkish Republics, South America, and West Africa. On the routes Shenzhen - London, Shanghai - Andorra, and New York - Almaty, the company loads 150 tons per month. The company’s door-to-door service for shipments between any two points globally provides added value to customers.
